Hey all! Thank you for tuning in! My name is Harshika Daryanani and I am an addict – to loving, to laughing, to living!

Umm it's a good introduction but lacks the “punch” no? See I have always wondered how I would describe myself if I ever had to that is. I mean I am no JK Rowling to be interviewed and asked for the one word that would describe me, but it's always good to have an answer ready I say! Friends and family have their own terms for me and I have to admit that I agree with all of them. They do describe me as a person but the umph factor is always missing!

Wait, let me ask you – how would you describe me if you knew me?

I am a regular person born and raised in India, married to a Singaporean and now living an expat life in Dubai – you know, just a normal regular "global citizen"! With an innate love for travel, fashion and all things “healthy”, am often referred to as a "junkie" – a tag I wear proudly!

A passionate creative, I have been told time and again that I write well and at times my posts are one of those they seek out to read! So after much procrastination I decided to start a blog – you know a virtual diary kinda cos there is always Only one way to find out! Basically it was me going about my day, Rambling about stuff and hoping that these would one day be passed on to my son as a family "heirloom" of sorts! And I bet by now you have realized that I am a bit of a drama queen too eh ;-) So Basically my blogs are exactly what I say they are – Rambles! Meant for an easy read! I do not aim to preach – I am work in progress myself. I cannot share "tips" – I'm no expert myself. I do not live my life according to any rules – I adapt and improvise. They do however, make great stories! I seem to never run out of those really!

And when I realized how important it is to share a story, I invited like-minded women to share theirs! I called it my little "Pink List", and with just five initial participants the "What Women Want" feature went live on June 8 2016. As of today I have had the honor and pleasure of narrating 15 stories! Thank you Ladies!

And here I am, yet again telling you a story, my story! So I think I now know! The one word I would pick to describe myself has be "Storyteller".
